Zhen Xin is curator and owner of Hart Center of Arts-Beijing, a performanace and cultural venue/studio located in Beijing's alternative culture neighbourhood - 798 Factory (Danshazi District). Since 2004 Zhen runs an eclectic program of film screenings, performances, music events, exhibitions and symposia dedicated to contemporary arts practices. Over the past year, she has organized several live art event the included performances created by musicians, dancers and painters. Lao Dan (painting) and Liu Chun (dance) participated in a mixed media work which was invited to the Digital Cultures Lab. Zhen Xin is also preparing to curate a program of contemporary Chinese videodance works to be presented at the Digital Cultures Lab on December 3, Sandfield Center.
